First and foremost, I love Jesus! I adore my husband of 20+ years and am so thankful for our family! We have 4 wonderful kiddos. My goal in life is to all go to heaven together and hopefully we make a point to find joy in the journey.
I feel like most days I run from the time I get up until the time I collapse into bed. So I love when I find a way to make life fun, but simple. You know, to make things look as if I slaved…when I didn’t. Sometimes that’s easier then others. I will admit my husband’s definition of the word “simple” and mine…isn’t always the same. He can get a good laugh (or eye roll) out of something I’ve declared “no biggie, this will be simple” There are times that I’m successful at not making things overly complicated, other times, not so much. Although there are times that things are worth the extra effort too. I’m still working to figure out the proper balance. I just don’t want to look back at my life and only see a blur. I want to look back and see zillions of wonderful memories filled with joy…oh, and coffee, I want to look back and ensure there was coffee. Even if I had to reheat the same cup 10 times in a day!
Oh yeah, and just to be clear, I’m not “techie” or a professional blogger (Ha…like you are surprised after looking around…sorry!). I really don’t know what I’m doing. What I do know is that I like to look back and remember recipes I tried, things I did with my kids, etc I’m more likely to do it this way then scrapbook or make notes in some adorable or cool looking journal. (even if I buy those things and dream of actually using them).
Also as a note (the fine print): Occasionally on this little blog I might put up an affiliate link or something because I’d found something I think is awesome that I recommend others to check out. The doesn’t change a price for you in any way FYI.
